September 18th – 20th, 2020

Sponsored by Rocky Mountain Woodturners, a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners

We had another great symposium in 2019 – see you next year! Our 2020 symposium will be the weekend of Sept 18-20. We are working to fill our line-up of demonstrators, and will update this site as soon as we have confirmations.

2020 will be our 22nd year for this event. Participants choose from over 42 rotations given by some of the best woodturners in the world. The presentations have something for everyone, from the beginner to the professional.

We are working on confirming demonstrators for 2020. In 2019, our demonstrators were John Beaver, Stuart Batty, Anthony Harris, Derek Weidman, Michael Alguire, Tod Raines, Michael Andersen, Vince Wilson, Rebecca Kielpinski, and Bob Franklin.

We will have a large vendor exhibit and a hands on woodturning program area. An Instant Gallery will be open to the public and attendees are encouraged to display their work.

Saturday evening will feature a banquet and a live auction. There will be many opportunities to purchase fine art, tools, and more.

Checkin and the vendor area will open Friday afternoon, and the first demonstration rotation begin at 3:30 on Friday. A meet-and-greet with demonstrators will be held Friday evening. Our last demonstration ends around 3:30 on Sunday, and we close out with a drawing for items that have been donated by our vendors.

The symposium is open to anyone with an interest in woodturning and is the best value available.
