September 13th – 15th, 2019

Sponsored by Rocky Mountain Woodturners, a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners

We had another great symposium in 2019 – see you next year!

2019 was the 21st year for this event. Participants chose from over 42 rotations given by some of the best woodturners in the world. The presentations had something for everyone, from the beginner to the professional.

This year’s line-up included John Beaver, Stuart Batty, Anthony Harris, Derek Weidman, Michael Alguire, Tod Raines, Michael Andersen, Vince Wilson, Rebecca Kielpinski, and Bob Franklin.

We had a large vendor exhibit and a hands on woodturning program area. An Instant Gallery was open to the Public and many of our attendees displayed some amazing work.

Saturday evening featured a banquet and a live auction. There were many opportunities to purchase fine art, tools, and more.

Checkin and the vendor area opened Friday afternoon, and the first demonstration rotation began at 3:30 on Friday. A meet-and-greet with demonstrators was held Friday evening. Our last demonstration ended around 3:30 on Sunday, and we closed out with a drawing for items donated by our vendors.

The symposium is open to anyone with an interest in woodturning and is the best value available.
