Returning in September, 2022

Sponsored by Rocky Mountain Woodturners, a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners

2021 Cancelation

After careful consideration, we have decided that we must cancel our 2021 Symposium.

Too many uncertainties remain to guarantee our ability to provide a safe and quality symposium, trade show, and gathering in September.

We are looking forward to returning in 2022.

In 2020, we had scheduled a symposium for the weekend of Sept 18-20. We had to cancel that year due to COVID-19 Demonstrators scheduled for that year included Mike Jackofsky, Graeme Priddle & Melissa Engler, Dick Gerard, Raleigh Lockhart, Pat Scott, Michael Alguire, Kirk DeHeer, and more!

2020 was to be our 22nd year for this event. Participants choose from 40 rotations given by some of the best woodturners in the world. The presentations have something for everyone, from the beginner to the professional.

We will have a large vendor exhibit and a hands on woodturning program area. An Instant Gallery will be open to the public and attendees are encouraged to display their work.

Saturday evening will feature a banquet and live and silent auctions. There will be many opportunities to purchase fine art, tools, and more.

Checkin and the vendor area will open Friday afternoon, and the first demonstration rotation begins at 3:30 on Friday. A meet-and-greet with demonstrators will be held Friday evening. Our last demonstration ends around 3:30 on Sunday, and we close out with a drawing for items that have been donated by our vendors.

The symposium is open to anyone with an interest in woodturning and is the best value available.
