September 15-17, 2023
Sponsored by Rocky Mountain Woodturners, a chapter of the American Association of Woodturners
We are actively working on our demonstration line-up for 2023. Our demonstrators this year are David Ellsworth, Graeme Priddle and Melissa Engler, Mark Gardner, Keith Gotschall, Yann Marot, and Laurent Niclot, plus 9 regional demonstrators. See more on our Demonstrations page!
New for 2023 – Workshops!
This year, we are sponsoring a couple workshops with some of our demonstrators. These are 2-day classes with limited registration, held during the week following the symposium. Check out our offerings and register over on our Workshops page!
About the Symposium
Participants choose from 40 rotations given by some of the best woodturners in the world. The presentations have something for everyone, from the beginner to the professional.
We have a large vendor exhibit and a hands on woodturning program area. An Instant Gallery is open to the public and all attendees are encouraged to bring and display their work.
We’re planning a lunch on Sunday featuring our closing ceremony, auctions and door prizes. There will be opportunities to purchase (or win!) fine art, tools, and more.
Check-in and the vendor area will open Friday afternoon, with the first demonstrations starting at 2:30. Friday evening there will be a meet-and-greet ice cream social where you can meet the demonstrators ad other participants.
Your registration (until August 31) includes a symposium T-Shirt, the Friday meet-and-greet picnic, and Sunday’s lunch. Early registration (opens March 1) will be discounted, so don’t wait!
The symposium is open to anyone with an interest in woodturning and is the best value available.
