In this demonstration I will try to simplify the process of creating hand-chased threads in wood. This is an advanced skill that simply takes practice. I will cover those requirements that will secure success in thread chasing which include: wood selection, using the proper tools, and the techniques for connecting the male and female threads in a lidded box. Those attending this demonstration will acquire a basic understanding of thread chasing using hand tools. With a basic understanding of thread chasing, those attendees can now practice the skills required to be successful.
