Interested in helping make the symposium a success? We are always looking for volunteers to help with tasks before, during and after the symposium.

- The Registration Desk checks people in, hands out tote bags and name tags, etc. Time slots vary in length.
- An Instant Gallery Attendant monitors the Instant Gallery. On Friday, may help attendees setup their pieces. 30, 45, 60 or 90 minute time slots.
- Set-up and Tear-Down volunteers might be helping with video equipment, moving lathes, setting up chairs and tables, or just general cleanup or other tasks.
- A Videographer will run the video camera for a session, ensuring the audience can see what’s going on. Not very technical – just point the camera and zoom in or out. Best seat in the house for your favorite demonstrator or demonstration!
- Demo Room Clean-up volunteers will come into a room between demos to sweep up shavings and tidy the room. Quick and easy.
- Demonstrator Travel Support volunteers will help with transport to or from the airport to their accommodations. This is an excellent opportunity to get 1:1 time with a demonstrator and get to know them better or visit with an old friend.
Please note: Volunteers planning on viewing demos must be registered for the symposium, volunteers who are just helping out (i.e. registration desk, instant gallery, set-up, clean-up, etc.) do not need to be registered.
