The process of turning the shield will be shown using the lathe index to make off and drill holes for the carriage bolts. Texturing will be demonstrated using a micro motor. A second turned and textured shield will be used to demonstrate how to color the shield using an airbrush along with hand application of artist paints. Participants should receive the knowledge to go home and make a shield of their own.
