Frequently Asked Questions
General Information
Where is the RMWT Symposium?
In Loveland, Colorado at the Ranch Events Complex: 5280 Arena Cir, Loveland, CO 80538
Why choose the RMWT Symposium?
The RMWT Symposium is one of many woodturning symposiums around the country and we know it can be difficult to make a choice about which one to attend. Here are just a few reasons we think it is worth attending the RMWT Symposium:
- Top Class Demonstrators in a smaller, more intimate environment.
- Only around 250-300 attendees instead of 1000+ (giving you the chance to interact one-on-one with our demonstrators & see the action up close).
- Anywhere from 12-15 demonstrators per year, giving you a wide variety of options.
- Unique opportunities like our hands-on room (don’t just watch demos, actually turn something).
- Colorado is beautiful in the fall – be sure to catch Rocky Mountain National Park while you are here.
- and last, but not least ice cream is included in your registration 🙂 and who doesn’t love ice cream!
Where do attendees come from?
Here is our attendee map from 2024:
Demonstrators
I am interested in demonstrating at the RMWT Symposium. How do I go about this?
Thanks for your interest! Applications for demonstrators are accepted November/December of the year prior to the symposium click here to learn more.
Why isn’t ____________ demonstrating?
There are a lot of factors that go into selecting demonstrators. Demonstrator suggestions are collected following each symposium and we do our best to bring in demonstrators that our attendee’s want to see. Each year we strive to have a well rounded line-up that appeals to many different types of turners. It is also important to remember that we can only bring in so many demonstrators per year – and, even if we do invite someone, it doesn’t mean that they will be able to accept. If you have suggestions for demonstrators, please reach out to our program coordinator Trent Bosch.

- Lunch on Saturday and Sunday
- A T-Shirt
- Ice Cream on Friday During Vendor Showcase
I don’t want lunch and/or a T-Shirt can you refund portion of my registration fee?
The registration fee is an all-inclusive price and we are unable refund for any unused portions. Thanks for your understanding.
Travel and Accommodation
Is there a hotel discount?
Not at this time. Every year we try to arrange this, but we are unable to get discounted pricing without reserving far more room blocks than our small symposium needs. The “discounts” we have been offered in the past have always been more expensive than if you were to just go and book online. To find a list of local hotels click here.
Can I bring my RV and camp onsite?
Yes, RV camping is available through the Ranch Event Complex, click here for more information.
